what we do

If you have a lifelong dream about hunting Africa, De Beer Safaris, is the right place. We offer over 50 huntable species ranging from Blue duiker to Elephant. The main lodge is situated 30 minutes East of Grahamstown. The lodge is a central point for all the adventures De Beer Safaris has to offer. We specialize in Dangerous game hunts, plains game hunts, tiny 10 hunts, family hunts, fishing and photographic safaris. The town Grahamstown is surrounded with well-known photographic areas and has a rich historical history. The main lodge has 6 on suite rooms all identical. We can host group up to 12 people at once.

Our hunting areas provide you with a choice of over 40 species ranging from Plains Game to Dangerous game to be hunted. Species include Kudu, Buffalo and Lion.

Accomodation

De Beer Safaris will spoil you with different lodges to suit your taste for your safari. Depending on animals wanting to be hunted or which area wanting to stay, we will cater for your needs.

Plains Game

The Eastern Cape is a renowned area for hunting all of the plains game species. The Eastern Cape has a varied terrain and includes mountainous areas, thick bush and open plains areas all in a relatively close proximity. Species to be hunted include: Kudu, Bushbuck, Impala, Blesbuck and Warthog.

Dangerous Game

Certain areas of the Eastern Cape and Kalahari host some of the best dangerous game hunting that South Africa offers. The two areas are vastly different to each other in terrain and hunting style. We offer dangerous game hunts that include species such as Buffalo, Lion, Hippo, Crocodile and Elephant.

About De Beer Safaris

De Beer Safaris is situated in the heart of the Eastern cape, two and half hours drive from Port Elizabeth and East London. Camp is about half hour drive from a beautiful little town called, Adelaide. Your host, Willem de Beer is the operator and owner of De Beer Safaris and will accommodate you throughout your safari. Willem is well known in the community as well as surrounding communities which allows him access to endless hunting. He grew up on the farm Marshall vale and has all the necessary knowledge to make your safari unforgettable guaranteed! De Beer Safaris is your ultimate one stop safari destination.
